Archanes, Heraklion, Crete — Intimate Wedding
Some weddings are not defined by their size, but by their closeness.
Sandie and Michael chose Archanes — a traditional Cretan village where time slows down and moments settle naturally.
Their wedding wasn’t about spectacle.
It was about presence.
Later, the celebration continued at Anδρομές — a place where laughter, music, and warm summer air carried their story into the night.
The day began quietly.
No rush.
No pressure.
Just the gentle rhythm of preparation.
Sandie moved slowly, absorbing each moment as it came.
Michael carried the calm focus of someone who knew exactly why he was there.
Not to perform.
But to live it.
Archanes has a way of holding emotion without overwhelming it.
Stone walls.
Soft light.
A sense of continuity.
When Sandie and Michael saw each other, everything else fell away.
No exaggerated reactions.
Just recognition.
Hands met.
Eyes stayed.
And the ceremony unfolded exactly as it should.
Naturally.
As the sun lowered, the energy shifted.
Anadromes welcomed everyone with warmth.
Music filled the space.
Voices rose.
Barriers disappeared.
This is where intimacy becomes celebration.
Not because there are many people.
But because every person there matters.
Sandie and Michael didn’t need a crowd.
They already had everything.
Intimate weddings create space.
Space to breathe.
Space to feel.
Space to remember.
And in that space, the real moments appear.
Not staged.
Not forced.
Simply true.
“I cannot overstate how amazing Panagiotis is to work with. From the beginning to the end of the process he was flexible, truly listened to us, and delivered exactly what he promised.
His photography is exceptional, and I especially loved how beautifully he captured my brown skin — the photos felt natural, elegant, and deeply flattering.
Communication was effortless. I speak only English, and his English is excellent, which made everything completely stress-free.
Beyond his talent, Panagiotis is simply a wonderful person to work with. Calm, kind, and professional — and yes, the drone photos were incredible.
I highly recommend him, especially for expats or destination couples looking for a photographer in Greece they can fully trust.”
In Archanes, everything slows down.
In Anadromes, everything opens up.
And somewhere between them, the day becomes unforgettable.
Yes. Intimate weddings are one of the most meaningful ways to celebrate. Whether it’s in a village like Archanes, a beach, or a private venue, I document the day with the same care and attention as any larger wedding.
Typically between 10 and 40 guests. The focus is on closeness, allowing couples to fully experience their day without pressure.
Yes. I photograph weddings across all of Crete, including Heraklion, Archanes, Chania, Rethymno, and remote locations.
Absolutely. Many couples choose full-day coverage to document preparation, ceremony, portraits, and celebration.
Most couples book 6–18 months in advance, especially for popular dates between May and October.
