Together with my wife Maria, we coordinated the timing, positioning, and discreet photography so the moment could unfold naturally and without pressure.
This sailing proposal reflects my approach to carefully planned, experience-driven proposal photography in Crete.
Christophe contacted us while planning their trip to Crete, sharing his vision of proposing in a quiet, intimate way — away from crowds, surrounded only by sea, sky, and the person he loves.
We suggested a private catamaran experience near Bali, a location known for its calm waters, rocky formations, and spectacular sunset colors. After a short planning call, we aligned on the timing, route, and exact moment for the proposal.
As the sun slowly dipped toward the horizon, Christophe invited Lisa to the front of the catamaran. With the warm evening light reflecting on the water, he asked the question — and Lisa said “yes”.
After the proposal, we continued with a relaxed sailing photoshoot, capturing their joy, laughter, and quiet moments together as the sky turned from gold to deep blue.
This session focused on natural interaction, movement, and genuine emotion — no posing, no interruptions, just their connection.
