Kyle planned a sunset proposal for Lauren on Maleme Beach, a quiet seaside location just outside Chania, known for its open horizon and warm evening light. From the start, the focus was simple: choose a spot that felt relaxed and genuine, and keep the experience stress-free.
Before the proposal, we worked together to find the right area along the beach and the best timing for the light and atmosphere. As the sun slowly set over the sea and the colors softened, Kyle asked the question — creating a moment that felt natural, emotional, and entirely theirs.
Maleme Beach offered exactly what Kyle was looking for: space, calm, and an uninterrupted view of the sea. In the moments before the proposal, the beach felt almost still, with the light gradually warming as the sun moved closer to the horizon.
We positioned ourselves discreetly, allowing Kyle and Lauren to enjoy a relaxed walk along the shoreline without distractions. There was no rush, no staged movement — just time and space for the moment to arrive naturally.
As the sky began to change color, Kyle stopped, turned to Lauren, and proposed. The sound of the sea and the fading light created a quiet, intimate atmosphere, making the moment feel effortless and deeply personal.
After the proposal, we stayed nearby for a short, relaxed photoshoot, capturing their joy as the sun dipped below the horizon and the beach settled into soft evening tones.
