Zane chose Elafonissi Beach for his proposal to Elsie, but this was not planned as a moment for only two people.
Their children were there with them, turning the proposal into part of a family experience rather than a separate romantic photoshoot.
The proposal itself remained simple. With the sea behind them and the evening light changing across the beach, Zane knelt in the sand and asked Elsie to marry him while their daughter stood beside them.
Elsie’s reaction was immediate.
As Zane remained on one knee with the ring, their daughter stayed close enough to be part of the moment without taking attention away from the proposal itself.
After Elsie said yes, the first photographs followed what happened naturally: the ring, their embrace, their daughter joining them and then portraits of the family together.
Rather than separating the engagement from their family holiday, the children became part of the story from the beginning.
The evening continued with a picnic beside the sea.
